In connection with the recent IMISCOE migration conference in Portugal, hosting so many inspiring contributions and important debates on various processes and problems related to migration to/from/within Central and Eastern Europe, our journal invites proposals for Special Sections for the years 2025 and 2026. 

A proposal should include:

• a theme of the Special Section, its description and rationale (up to 1000 words);
• name(s) of proposed guest editor(s);
• a provisional list of authors, titles and abstracts (of up to 250 words) of the papers;
• a suggested timetable indicating especially the date of submitting full papers for review.

A Special Section should contain from 4 to 8 papers of up to 8,000 words. All papers will be subject to a double-blind peer review, and only papers that successfully go through the review process will be published.

This call is open for all researchers working on studies concerning CEE (not only the IMISCOE conference participants). 

The deadline for submissions is 20th October 2024. CEEMR Special Section proposals should be sent to: ceemr@uw.edu.pl.
